Are you a good candidate for Invisalign?
During your initial visit, Dr. Brown will determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign. Using our state-of-the art equipment, along with photographs and our iTero digital scanner, she will be able to show you a before-and-after simulation of your new smile so you can visualize the final result right from the start.
The digital scans of your teeth and the data gathered on how to get the desired result are then sent to Invisalign’s lab, where a series of custom aligners are created. Within two weeks, you’ll receive your first aligners and can begin wearing them right away. Each successive aligner is worn for about one to two weeks before moving to the next until your treatment is completed.
Advantages of Invisalign
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic aligners that gently move teeth over time into their optimal position and alignment. The aligners are nearly invisible when worn and can be removed easily for eating, brushing and flossing. Because they’re made from smooth plastic with no sharp edges, the aligners are also comfortable to wear. Invisalign treatment is much faster than traditional metal braces, which take over a few years to straighten teeth, while Invisalign can often be completed in much less time.
